Weekend in Vega's | Washington DC 2012

This year I took advantage of Vega's DC assignment to see our Nation's Capitol, Washington DC.  It was a whirlwind of a trip trying to see all of the sights.  So much to see... too little time, so we hit the high points, Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, The White House, The Pentagon, and the U.S. Capitol Building.  I got the behind the scenes tour of both the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol Building.  Can't really say much about the Pentagon (go figure) other than it's like a mini city.  Lots and lots of peeps working..  As for the Capitol Building, Vega and I got the nickel tour.  We were able to visit the inner workings of the Senate Side of the Building, the Senate Floor, Cloakroom, and Obama's Desk.  Very cool stuff.

In between the sights, spent some time the E, Bugs and Sophie  Good times!!!

The Vega's were wonderful hosts and I can't wait for next Vega's trip..
